Didn’t manage to post anything yesterday as I was, and still am, totally blissed out from the reflexology and Indian head massage sessions I had at the Stoneywish Nature Reserve Fun Day, after they assured me that I wouldn’t go back in time if I had both. Apart from the ‘vibration’ therapies it was for the most part an arts and crafts event with willow weaving, felt making, stone carving, wool spinning and pebble painting being probably the most popular with our kids, although Max seemed to enjoy attacking me with the space hoppers the most fun of all. There was also a puppet theatre and a folk duo, as well as a number of stalls with the my-KEA waste wood recycled furniture and Something New furnishings from recycled fabrics being two of my favourites. There were even some campers there, and who knows with a bit more promotion and maybe some more live music they’ll get the numbers they deserve next year, as it was a charming and gentle event at a venue that already has a lot to offer.

Hi Justin,
I was your Reflexologist at the Stoneywish day and thank you for your comments, glad you felt so good after it! I have passed on your web/blog details to Liz who organised that Stoneywish day (her first) so I am sure she’ll be in touch with you for next year. It was a lovely day wasn’t it – mini Glastonbury perhaps? I did mention to you that I organise an Art and Craft Fair in November here in Hassocks but it’s possibly not right for your pages. Just for the sake of it though, it’s on Sunday, 21st November 11am to 4pm (No camping sadly!) at The Adastra Hall, in Hassocks. Thanks. Penny
